Join the TEAM NOLA FIT EMPIRE as we share what it means to be a coach on our team, what we do as coaches, how we earn an income, and what to expect your
first 30 days!!
1. what do you do as a coach?
As a coach, you are a CHEERLEADER! You get to share your journey (which is perfectly imperfect) and help others along the way. You invest in yourself through personal development, working on your own health and fitness journey, and share that with others.
As a coach, you get to plug people into a virtual accountability group called a challenge group. You get all the tools you need ot help match people up with a fitness and nutrition program, and support them along their journey. It is our job to support by sharing meal plans, daily motivation, and our own journey in our challenge groups.
We also share about this publically on our pages! You can take any platform you're passionate about and use it to share YOUR story. You can do it part time or full time, but are NEVER alone because you'll have all our team resources and help along the way.
Also, you WILL hit goals you've never imagined along the way because you'll find that as you hold yourself accountable, you personally get in better shape, better at meal planning, more confidence, etc.
2. how much time does it require?
I’d say the minimum amount of time needed to be successful in growing your business is 5 – 8 hours a week. In my opinion, 1 hour a day, 7 days a week, or 2 hours a day, 5 days a week is all that is needed when first starting out as a Coach. That's missing literally one hour of TV, right. To move your life in a positive direction, so worth it!
It is very important to understand how this business model works and that in beginning you will work many hours, but get paid very little. But as time goes by, the amount of hours you spend will get smaller, but your checks will get bigger. I promise you, what you put into it, you will get out of it. I paid off my son's car after 6 months. I wanted to make $200 extra a month to help pay for my nutrition shakes and I passed that in 2 months time - but I worked for it. What you put in is what you'll get out of it.
I think many people don’t understand this fully and give up way too soon because they’ve work hard for a few months, but aren’t yet seeing the monetary reward. I've seen it happen too many times personally and I had them come back regretting that they left and starting over again. Just don't quit on yourself and trust the process and your potential. I wouldn't have invited you here if I didn't think you were cut out for this.
What is more important than the actual number of hours you spend on your business is CONSISTENCY. Determine how many hours per day/week you are able to spend on your business, and set aside specific days and times that you will be doing business building activities. Then stick your schedule.
Doing just a little each day, over time, will have a huge impact on your business. So many Coaches get signed up, are excited and pumped, and spend 5 hours a day, everyday, for the first month, and yield very little results. Then they get discouraged, and give up. It is very important to set a realistic schedule, one that will not burn you out over time. Look at building your business as marathon, not a sprint. I can help you with setting BLOCKED HOURS and time your day so you don't get too excited too soon and burnout.
Your exercise routine shouldn’t be the following, workout for 7 hours on Sundays, and take the other 6 days off…and you should approach your coaching business with the same concept. You will get much better results spending a hour a day on building your business, than you would spending just 7 hours 1 day a week. I built my business in little 15-45 minute cracks in my day around working full time and being a mom! I'm so glad to say I work on my coaching business more than my other business today and I LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT COACHING - it fills every area of life, provides income, happiness, keeps my health & fitness on track and I am always learning more to teach others and BECOME THE BEST VERSION possible for the BEST LIFE that I design. Nobody else's rules. FREEDOM!!
If you are like one of the many people that say, “I just don’t have the time”, but you do have the time to get on facebook and watch TV every night, your “I don’t have time” excuse is just that, an excuse to prevent you from feeling bad about not taking action. I won't beg you to do this or stay here, it may not be your JAM but I wanted to show you the potential your life CAN HAVE.... and that's the honest to GOD truth.
3. i don't want to sell anything!
WHEW, ME EITHER!!!!! So how do I become a Successful Coach without being a Salesperson? First of all, you can't be AFRAID to help someone, because you're probably interested in this to make some extra income. With that said though, we are all about making an IMPACT first and then an INCOME. We help others find solutions to their health and fitness issues.
We don't want you randomly cold messaging people or feeling "spammy." If you do want to be successful you will connect with people and you will share your journey publically and invite people to join you! Be a sincere friend and always lead with your heart.
You first become a product of the product. This means committing to a fitness program and drinking the superfoods shakes for your own nutritional benefit each day. From there, you can either share this journey with people you love, share it on Social Media with people you don’t know, blog about it, YouTube about it, etc. Just like you would anything else that you are loving....
As you share your journey becoming a product of the product, people will connect with you. In no way am I “ripped to shreds” at the time of writing this post. I make anywhere from $500-$1500/week (and rising each week…). You do NOT need to be fit, just share your journey and your struggles, and your tips! After you connect with people you know (and don’t know!), you can invite them into a Challenge Group. I'm here to help you. Don't worry about all the training, there is plenty of training for you to grow at your own pace. It's your own business. Your rules. Your speed.
