Do you EAT before you workout? | do you workout in a fasted state?

DO YOU EAT BEFORE YOUR WORKOUT?? . Working out in a fasted state trains your body to burn fat more efficiently! . . . Has a personal trainer ever told you to fill up before a workout? . I don’t know about you but early in my fitness journey, I was always told I had to eat something before working out. I never wanted to. I never was a huge breakfast eater anyway to be honest. I've always eaten using an IF pattern (just didn't know it had a name all these years TBH) .....If I ate before working out, I always felt stuffed and sluggish during my training session. While not eating before working out is NOT for everyone, there are massive benefits gained from working out in a fasted state. . You become more sensitive to insulin and allow the human growth hormone to help you burn fat and build muscle. If you practice intermittent fasting daily, working out fasted will increase your sensitivity to insulin. Your insulin is at baseline while fasting and eating before working out causes your insulin levels to rise. The goal for you should be to restrict the spike of insulin as much as possible (eating one to two times a day). Many believe having a pre-workout meal helps them achieve optimal performance during their workout. You have to find what works best for you. Listen to your BODY! Pay attention to how you feel and how it reacts. . WHY is Working out in a fasted state beneficial? An empty stomach triggers a cascade of hormonal changes throughout the body that are conducive to both building muscle and burning fat.

Guys....working out in a fasted state......also allows the human growth hormone to work in your favor. When you eat, the release of the human growth hormone is restricted by the rise of glucose in your system. Even if you don’t work out in a fasted state, delaying your first meal by a few hours allows you to have better physical function and longevity. . . Running on empty can make the body better at using its energy that it stores. The occasional fasted training session can improve the quality of “fed” workouts later on. In a nutshell: When the body learns to exert itself without any food, it gets better at performing when it does have fuel in the tank. . I get asked all the time what my workout routine looks like.....Well, this morning I got up. Went outside to have some quiet GOD time with Nemo & Noodle by my side. I read, I listened to some inspiring mentors, drank my ENERGY scoop with WATER and added a scoop of my NEW collagen (can't wait to tell you how I like it) YOU CAN check it out here ---->

Now I'm headed to do my Day 2/100 workout with my TEAM! I'll drink a muscle recover protein drink after my workout (depending on how intense my workout is)...... THEN IT'S WORK, WORK, WORK - helping others achieve their dreams & goals! My first meal will be around 10:30am. IF!!! My last meal will be around 7pm!! IF!!!
