Well, I started my fitness journey when I was about 16.......soooo it's sorta a lifestyle now.
.
When you have the MINDSET of "sustainable lifestyle, complete with daily movement.....eating REAL FOODS, no junk......LIFE GETS EASIER!

After a while, the setbacks, injuries, traveling, holidays, parties, vacations, etc...... are just all a part of YOUR NORMAL LIFE !!!
INSTEAD of thinking, RESTART......think YEA, I'M SICK so I'm not exercising this week but i'm still eating healthy, still washing my face everyday - applying anti-aging serum, applying daily sunscreen and brushing my teeth, etc...

the WELLNESS LIFESTYLE encompasses SOOOO MUCH MORE THAN ONE SINGLE THING....
Adopt good habits TODAY.....
Aim for 10-12K steps every single day -
THROW OUT THE FOOD WITH PRESERVATIVES, BHT, FOOD DYES, PLASTICS (leaches into food)
....
examine your SKINCARE products...are they filled with parabens? GOOGLE ITI!

How many fresh veggies do you consume daily - no butter, no cheese?

Use down time to examine the HEALTH of your household environment.

what you EAT and products you put on your SKIN IS EVEN MORE IMPORTANT than the type/duration of exercise you do - YES, I MEAN IT - look it up yourself.

But to answer the question...yes, i was sick and struggled with motivation last summer....But ate my normal short-list of foods.
