Bible Reading Plans & Studies I’m Loving!
Starting a new year always feels like the perfect time to dive into something that will transform you from the inside out. And for me, that means committing to read the entire Bible—yes, the whole thing—from start to finish.
A few years ago, I stumbled upon THE BIBLE RECAP, a FREE plan you can find in the YouVersion Bible App. It’s simple: follow the reading plan for the day, then press play for a 10-minute recap to break it all down. It’s been an absolute game changer.
20 minutes a day. That’s it. You’ll be amazed at how much you grow in just one year. And trust me, this one is a must-try.
This year, I decided to mix things up with 4-6 week Bible studies around topics that were calling to me. Some were great, some were OK, but I gotta admit—I missed the consistency of having a daily plan that takes me through the entire Bible. So, I’m back to The Bible Recap in 2025!

What I’m Doing in 2025 & Just Ordered:
This year, I’m going all in with The ONE YEAR BIBLE in LARGE PRINT (because, let’s be real, my eyesight isn’t what it used to be! 😂) and the companion guide to dig even deeper.
A friend of mine has used this plan for the past 20 years, and after hearing about how it’s worked for her, I’m finally jumping on the bandwagon.
Here’s how it works: You read a portion of the Old Testament, New Testament, a Psalm, and a Proverb every day. In a year, you’ll get through the Old Testament once, the New Testament and Psalms twice, and Proverbs once.
It’s an easy 15-minute daily commitment, and I can’t wait to see how it shifts my perspective and deepens my faith in 2025.
