how To Make the Perfect SMoothie: Heather Newman

I love starting my day with A good smoothie. It's the best way to pack in a ton of nutrients first thing in the morning without demanding a ton of energy from your body. Processing all of that fruit in liquid form is so much easier for your body to handle. here's what's in one of my favorite smoothies:

- coconut water (or almond milk) - fresh blueberries - fresh strawberries - strawberry Superfoods powder - one full scoop (you can order yours here) - frozen pineapple

blended together using a Nutribullet (like this one here) and obviously a cute cup and straw counts for bonus points!! ALWAYS - the prettier it is, the better it tastes - same goes with food presentation.

Cute cuppies: MICKEY MOUSE

A few great ingredients to add: - Rolled Oats or Granola  - Chia Seed Pudding (super easy to make) Here is how:  INGREDIENTS 1/4 cup chia seeds 1 cup of almond or coconut milk, depending on preference 1/2 tablespoon honey DIRECTIONS Mix chia seeds, coconut milk, and honey together in a small bowl or glass mason jar. Let it set in refrigerator for an hour - or overnight. Remove it from the fridge, and make sure your pudding looks thick and the chia seeds have gelled.
