MY MORNING ROUTINE: 3 THINGS THAT KEEP ME SANE!


My morning routine is ever evolving and changing but it's my most requested conversation when I'm coaching clients and they want to wake up earlier but just don't understand how to do it without feeling tired by 2pm.


I too was one to hit the snooze button on LIFE until about 2 years ago when I realized how much I actually needed that GET UP MORNING before everyone else in the house! It allowed me to be alone and at PEACE and alone time to just slowly get my body moving. I have also learned NEVER TO LOOK AT SOCIAL MEDIA OR EMAILS before I get up........it's not easy because it's become such a BAD HABIT FOR MOST to look at our phones as soon as we wake - after all, our alarm is even on the freaking phone but if you can, stop the alarm, GET UP and don't look at facebook, instagram, emails, etc. IT CAN WAIT - THE WORLD IS NOT UP YET REMEMBER!!!

Wake up starting with 10 minutes early each morning and then progress to 15 after a week or so and see if you can get up 30 minutes early to establish a new habit to have ME TIME every single morning and start the day off on a very POSITIVE HEALTHY NOTE.




So here is my morning routine


1. WORKOUT


2. MEDITATE


3. WRITE DOWN MY 10 TOP GOALS DAILY WITHOUT LOOKING AT THE GOALS FROM THE DAY BEFORE (TOTAL LIFE CHANGER)


So, if I wait to get in my workout after checking emails and social media - IT WON'T HAPPEN - PERIOD! I've tried and tried and tried.....I find other things to do instead of the workout so I make sure it's #1 EVEN IF I'M NOT IN FULL GEAR - i"ve worked out in sweats or pj's before to make sure I JUST SHOW THE FREAK UP! I workout in my garage daily and I have a full routine calendar every month that changes so I never get bored! MY DAILY MEDITATION PROGRAM THAT I FOLLOW IS THE ABSOLUTE BOMB!!! So after I get in my daily workout, I have started MEDITATING (ESP SINCE HUBBY INDUSTRY BEING SHUT DOWN BC OF COVID)....THIS WAS SO OVERWHELMING AND STRESSFUL, I had to figure out a way to cope!

I found it and I highly recommend this program to ANYONE WHO IS SUFFERING FROM STRESS and hopelessness these days!
