It's the beginning of a new month which means there is not better time to set goals and get your mind in the right place to really start achieving some of the things you keep saying you want!
Setting goals is so rewarding, and I have some tips to help ensure you will be successful in attaining the goals you set out to achieve.
PLAN IT OUT:
It can be easy to create BIG GOALS for yourself and then get lost in the execution. It's helpful to set a larger goal and then make actionable, smaller goals to complete along the way to hold yourself accountable.
MAKE IT VISIBLE:
Once you have set your goals and your smaller actions steps, put them where you can see them every single day. You could write them on your mirror, put them on your phone, make a sticky note on your computer - wherever you'll constantly be reminded of what you're working towards.
Whether a coach, community, friend family member, or mentor, find someone who wants to help you stay on track. Having someone to hold you accountable helps you keep your goals in mind because you're no longer just answering to yourself.
NEVER BE AFRAID OF FAILURE:
Failure is inevitable. Things will go wrong. You will have to learn to adapt. There will be obstacles. Never let this stop you though. Instead, take a second to evaluate what is going on and then make a plan to overcome and learn from your failures. If you don't have failures, you're not stretching yourself enough!
