better.u — why i created my own plan (and stopped following theirs)

i didn’t set out to start something new.
i just got tired of feeling like i was doing everything right… and still not feeling like myself.
i’ve been in the health + fitness space for years — licensed, certified, studied. but no certification can tell you what your body needs in real time. and lately, my body has been speaking louder than ever.
joint pain in my thumb.
a bloat that feels… stubborn.
and just this overall “off” feeling i couldn’t shake.
so i paused.
stripped everything back.
and asked: what does my body actually need — right now, at 55?
no trends. no plans from online guru's, Youtube or Pinterest. no supplements.
i needed to reset.
so i created better.u — a very personal, anti-inflammatory protocol that I designed using my own research, experience, and intuition.
it’s not carnivore. it’s not keto. it’s not a challenge.
it’s simply… what my body asked for.
and i listened.
here’s a peek:
breakfast for 9 straight days = 3–4 fried eggs
cooked in a dab of olive or avocado oil spray
seasoned only with pink himalayan sea salt + black pepper
(that salt is actually a vital piece of what i’m doing — more on that later.)
no fruit. no veggies. yes, you read that right.
no supplements. not even vitamins. i needed to see what my baseline was again.
the only thing i kept? my unicorn juice — non-negotiable.

this isn’t something i’m ready to teach yet.
because i’m still in it.
but what i can tell you is this:
it’s working.
my gut feels lighter.
my head feels clearer.
my joints feel less puffy.
and i feel — for the first time in a while — like i’m on the right path for this version of me.
i’m not chasing skinny.
i’m chasing clarity.
alignment.
less inflammation.
more ownership of my choices.
and better — real, honest, better.
that’s what better.u is about.
not about being perfect.
not about being extreme.
but about finally creating a protocol that supports me.
i’ll share more when the time is right.
but until then, if you want to be part of this journey —
to move different, live different, and eat a little different too…

this movement isn’t for the masses.
it’s for the women who know it’s time to do life —
with more intention, more style, and way more clarity.
